Who is responsible for my Hoply account data?+
Hoply is the data controller for personal data processed through the app and website. You can reach us at support@hoplyapp.com for any privacy-related question or to exercise your rights under GDPR.
What personal data does Hoply collect?+
We collect the information you give us when you create an account (name, email, password), the training data you log or sync (runs, distance, pace, heart rate, perceived effort), profile details you choose to share (age, weight, goals), and basic device and usage data needed to run the service. We do not collect more than we need to coach you.
How is my training and health data used?+
Your training and health data is used solely to generate and adapt your personalised coaching plan, show you your progress, and improve the service. We never sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Data obtained through Apple Health / HealthKit is never used for advertising and is never shared with third parties. Can I export or delete my data?+
Yes. You can request a copy of your personal data or have your account and associated data deleted at any time by emailing support@hoplyapp.com. We will action verified requests within 30 days, in line with GDPR.
What does Hoply cost and how do subscriptions work?+
Hoply is free to download and includes core features. Optional paid plans unlock advanced coaching and are billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Pricing is shown in-app before you subscribe.
Can I get a refund?+
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled under Apple's App Store terms — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe you were charged in error, also email support@hoplyapp.com and we'll help you follow up.
Who can use Hoply?+
Hoply is intended for users aged 16 and over. By creating an account you confirm you meet that age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. Hoply is a coaching tool, not a medical device — consult a doctor before starting a new training programme.
How do I close my account?+
You can delete your account from inside the app under Settings → Account, or by emailing support@hoplyapp.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and training history, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
